MEF Soccer Summer Camp

• Building CONFIDENCE on the ball developing a game changing first touch. The first touch, otherwise known as the "golden touch" is an essential ability to have within the game. Without a great first touch, players cannot be successful within the game.
• Developing Soccer IQ. Soccer is ultimately a THINKING game. The aim of this camp is to take the technical ability learned and improved first touch into situations where players can THINK about the game in positive ways, and ultimately control the flow of the game.
• Goalscoring. The primary focus will be technique, mastering different goalscoring situations, and being ruthless in front of goal. Ultimately, you cannot win games if you do not score goals and this camp will ensure that you become that game changer.
• Game awareness. This is an aspect of the game that can be improved upon within all levels of the game. The central focus of game awareness will be scanning/seeing the whole field after taking a first touch and internally collecting data on opposition players and applying this information to gain an advantage.
• Competition will be highlighted through 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and small sided games/scrimmages. We highly emphasize competition because our core belief is that a competitive mindset is advantageous not only for soccer, but for school and life in the future. We want to win at everything we do.

Each player will receive an Adidas AC Storm jersey and in-person player evaluation (Similar to parent/teacher conferences).
